Kendra + Smith McLelland

Kendra & Smith are MARRIED!!! On Saturday, July 28th, these two became Mr. & Mrs. McLelland at the lovely Kitalou Gin. Who would have thought that all those years back went Kendra and Smith woke up crazy early one Saturday to go take their SAT, that they would be meeting their future spouse. Crazy!! I absolutely adore these two and after many years of loving each other and dating, they are finally Mr. & Mrs. McLelland!!! There were many many happy tears shed by all yesterday as we witnessed Kendra and Smith promise and vow to love and honor one another for the rest of their lives. They have a love that is so sweet, considerate, and intentional and it spills out onto all of those who do life with them. Kendra and Smith are both BIG hearted, people loving, warm & welcoming individuals and together they are going to live that out as one unit and change the world and lives around them. I can't wait to watch it!! I cannot tell you how BEYOND grateful I am to have had the honor of capturing the McLelland's wedding day. I have taken Kendra's pictures since she was a senior in High School, college, engagements, bridals, and now her wedding day!! (insert tear/smiley/heart face emoji's here). I remember Kendra saying that one day I'd be photographing her wedding, and I have to admit it has been something I've held to my heart and prayed would be a reality. Why? Well, because when you have the opportunity to serve someone like Kendra, you know that it is going to bless you in return. Serving and preserving this couples most precious memories is something I'll forever be thankful to have had the opportunity to do! Although I sweated like a mad woman (hello pregnancy & summertime), I got home late last night, swollen feet and all, and could only smile and think, "I love my job." What a gift. The incredible people I get to work with make my job the best in the world... I believe it!! -- I can also tell you that the McLellands are LOVED!! They had such a huge turnout to celebrate their marriage, and you could tell that the people who filled the Kitalou Gin came with hearts that genuinely love and adore this couple. That is also such a gift, and a testament to who Kendra and Smith are, as well as the wonderful families they come from <3. A few things that I loved from their wedding day was all of the lovely details, the DELICIOUS food trucks (shout out to Farm to Fork, Crusty's Pizza, Twist'd Texas, and Gold Stripe Coffee), the beautiful florals from Dayspring Design, and all of the beautiful people!! I mean... these guys could not have prettier friends, just saying. It was a day of celebration, and a night to be remembered!! Enjoy pictures from the evening :). Leave a comment on the blog to show the newlyweds some love - they will be able to read and have your kind words to look back on!
